Tamim490
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains how Mark McCarthy and Caren McCarthy as trustees for the MMC & CMC Family Trust (ABN 62 404 322 150), trading as Tamim 490 ("Tamim490", "we", "us"), handles personal information. It covers this website (tamim490.com.au) and the programs we deliver. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. What we collect
Forms and enquiries. Name, email, mobile, business name, and what you write when you request a discovery call, register for an event or send us a message.
Bookings. If you book a call through the booking calendar, your name, email and the time you choose.
Free tools. If you use the Job Docket or the Business Check-in, the numbers or answers you enter. They stay in your browser on your own device until you sign up for your result or request a call; at that point we receive them with your name and email, and keep them so we can reply to you and so you can compare results later. A check-in result sits on a private page that only someone with the link we email you can open.
Private proposal pages. If we send you a proposal, it opens with a one-time code sent to your email address. We record when the page is opened and which sections are viewed, so we know it reached you and can follow up.
Email updates. If you subscribe or sign up for a tool, your email address and whether our emails are opened or clicked.
Clients. Everything above, plus intake form answers, information you share in sessions about yourself, your business, your staff and your family, session notes, summaries, recordings (only with your consent), program outputs, and billing details.
Health information. If you join a health or wellness program, information about your health, habits and goals. An event registration form may also ask about allergies so we can cater for you safely. This is sensitive information. We collect it only with your consent and only where needed to deliver the program or event safely.
Faith information. If you choose the optional faith track, or tell us about your faith in a call or session, we may record that choice and what you share. Information about religious beliefs is sensitive information. We collect it only with your consent and only where needed to deliver the track.
Website use. Pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you interact with pages, collected through cookies and similar tools (see section 6).
We do not collect government identifiers such as tax file numbers, and we do not keep full card numbers. Card payments are processed by the payment provider.
You can browse the site, and deal with us for general enquiries, anonymously or with a pseudonym. We cannot deliver a program without knowing who you are.
2. How we collect it
Directly from you: forms, emails, calls, bookings, the free tools, sessions and intake questionnaires. Automatically, through cookies and analytics, when you visit the site. From third parties only where you would expect it: for example, a person who refers you to us, or a payment provider confirming your payment.
3. Why we use it
- to respond to enquiries and book calls;
- to send you the result or resource you asked for;
- to deliver, record and improve your program;
- to invoice and collect payment;
- to send you updates and marketing, if you have agreed (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email);
- to understand how the site is used, improve it and protect it from spam and misuse; and
- to meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- the coach delivering your program;
- service providers who help us run the site and the business, bound to protect it (listed below);
- our accountant, lawyer and insurer;
- anyone you ask us to share it with; and
- a regulator, court or other body where the law requires, or where needed to prevent a serious threat to someone's life, health or safety.
Service providers we use

Calls held on Google Meet may be recorded and transcribed by Fireflies.ai, a notetaker that joins the call and is visible to everyone on it. Phone calls and in-person sessions are transcribed on our own computers using locally installed software. We record only with your consent.
Where information goes overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure the provider handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not allow AI providers to use client information to train their models where the provider offers that choice.
5. How we protect and keep it
We store information in password-protected systems with multi-factor authentication where available, and limit access to the people who need it. We keep client records for 7 years after a program ends (for tax and legal reasons), then delete or de-identify them. We delete session recordings earlier on request unless the law requires us to keep them. We keep enquiry and sign-up information for as long as we need it to reply to you and stay in touch, and delete it when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep it.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.
6. Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies and similar technology for analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity), spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), form handling and keeping a private page open after you enter your code. The free tools also use your browser's local storage to remember numbers you entered and that you have signed up. Clarity may record how you move around a page; it masks form fields by default and masks all text on proposal pages. You can block cookies in your browser; some site features may not work if you do.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If we refuse, we will tell you why.
8. Complaints
Email [email protected] with details. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always at tamim490.com.au/privacy.
